When satan is trying to attack your mind, he is trying to gain control of you. This is what we call a stronghold. The definition of a stronghold is a pattern of lies and deception. You may have experienced a stronghold in your life before and not been aware of it. As Christians we have to be aware of satan's tactics that try to deceive us. Being in a continuous state of prayer and reading GOD's word is our defense against strongholds.
